Via AgencySpy, AdWeek reports Motorola execs were not fans of Michel Gondry’s 60-second spot for the Razr2.

Despite the $800k it cost agency Cutwater to produce, it was killed in favor of this dueling razors ad produced by Ogilvy.

Questions For Dale Herigstad

Wednesday I will be at the IP Media Expo, co-located with Satcon and the HD Media Expo. It should be interesting to see some of the broadcast quality video over IP content delivery solutions hitting the market.

I will also be speaking with Dale Herigstad, co-founder and Chief Creative officer at Schematic who has worked on the interfaces for XBox 360, Microsoft Surface and is a thought leader on development of GUIs for EPGs.

Popular Piracy Players Go Primetime

Anyone who has dabbled in downloading music, movies and software has undoubtedly heard of BitTorrent. The technology, originally developed by Bram Cohen, caught fire within the pirate community as the most popular way for sharing large files over the internet.

But BT isn’t just technology used to rip of “the man” anymore. In Februrary of this year, BitTorrent went legit (at least as a company), and opened its doors with content partnerships from leading studios such as 20th Century Fox, Comedy Central, Lions Gate, Paramount and Warner Brothers.

The Sports Page: Pro Athletes on Stack TV

High School sports magazine Stack has relaunched their website with a new online video portal offering training tips for high school athletes. Brightcove-powered StackTV currently offers 800 short-form video clips across eight content categories and the caliber of talent they have recruited is pretty incredible.
